Dreamhaven and Moonshot Games Announce Wildgate, a Crew-Based Space Shooter

The innovative multiplayer game blends space exploration, tactical combat, and team-based objectives, with a preview playtest set for April 10-14, 2025.

Wildgate is a newly announced multiplayer first-person shooter where players, called Prospectors, team up to retrieve a relic or eliminate rival crews in a procedurally generated space environment.
The game combines first-person shooting, ship-to-ship combat, exploration, and resource gathering, drawing inspiration from titles like Sea of Thieves and Subnautica.
Scheduled for release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, Wildgate will hold its first community preview playtest from April 10-14, 2025.
Matches feature dynamic objectives and unpredictable maps, with players balancing upgrades, ship repairs, and tactical decisions to secure victory.
Developed by former Blizzard veterans under Dreamhaven, Wildgate promises ongoing seasonal updates to introduce new content and sustain player engagement.
