Driver Sentenced to Over 10 Years for Fatal 92mph Crash in North London

Ali Xhaferri's high-speed collision killed a pedestrian and caused extensive property damage

Ali Xhaferri, 43, drove at speeds between 70 and 92mph in a 40mph zone on the A406 North Circular Road.
The crash killed pedestrian Ahmed Moneer, 37, and seriously injured passenger Dexter Charles, 53.
Xhaferri's car smashed through a wall, sending Moneer into a family's home where he died instantly.
The driver has a history of dangerous driving and was found to be within the legal alcohol limit.
Xhaferri received a 10-year prison sentence and a 12-year driving ban for causing death by dangerous driving.
