Dutch Museum Rescues Beer Can Artwork Mistaken for Trash

A museum staff member accidentally discarded the artwork, which was later recovered intact from a trash bin.

The artwork, titled 'All The Good Times We Spent Together,' was created by French artist Alexandre Lavet and features hand-painted beer cans.
The piece was displayed in a glass elevator at the LAM Museum in Lisse, Netherlands, as part of a strategy to present art in unconventional locations.
An elevator technician, unfamiliar with the exhibit, mistook the cans for actual litter and disposed of them during his shift.
Curator Elisah van den Bergh discovered the cans missing and retrieved them from a trash bag just before they were permanently discarded.
The museum holds no grudge against the technician, viewing the incident as a testament to the realism and impact of Lavet's artwork.
