Eamonn Walker to Reprise Role as Wallace Boden on 'Chicago Fire'

The fan-favorite actor returns for a special episode on April 16, nearly a year after stepping back from his series regular role.

Eamonn Walker will appear as Wallace Boden in the 'Chicago Fire' Season 13 episode titled 'Post-Mortem,' airing April 16 at 9/8c on NBC.
In the episode, Boden, now Deputy Commissioner, is tasked with leading a post-incident analysis of a house fire that collapsed with a firefighter inside.
The episode will feature flashbacks and unique points of view as Boden investigates the cause and consequences of the tragic firefight.
Walker, an original cast member, stepped back as a series regular after Season 12, but the show left the door open for his return.
The current season has introduced Dermot Mulroney as Chief Dom Pascal, who has been leading Firehouse 51 in Boden's absence.
