• Ed Gale died May 27, 2025, in hospice care in Los Angeles and his niece, Kayse Gale, confirmed the passing via Facebook without naming a cause of death.
• He remained under investigation by the LAPD and had a case referred to the L.A. City Attorney’s Office after a 2023 sting by the Creep Catchers Unit in which he admitted to soliciting what he believed were minors.
