EF1 Tornado Kills 1, Injures Dozens in Texas Border Town

An EF1 tornado struck the small Texas town of Laguna Heights early Saturday morning, resulting in one death and dozens of injuries.
The tornado caused major damage to homes and infrastructure in the area, damaging between 40 to 60 homes and knocking out power.
Highways remain closed as emergency crews work to clear debris and restore services.
State and local authorities have opened a shelter and triage center to assist displaced residents.
The tornado came with little warning and struck an area that rarely experiences such severe weather events.
