Overview

  • The summer transfer window will now close at 7 PM instead of the traditional 11 PM, aiming to ease the workload on club staff and administrators.
  • A two-part summer window has been introduced: a mini-window from June 1–10 and a main window from June 16–September 1, addressing registration needs for the expanded FIFA Club World Cup.
  • Top five European leagues, including the Premier League, have synchronized their transfer deadlines to 7 PM UK time to reduce competitive imbalances caused by staggered closures.
  • Clubs will have a two-hour grace period post-deadline to finalize domestic deals, with an additional two hours for international transfers.
  • The winter transfer window is scheduled from January 1 to February 2, with its closing time yet to be finalized.
