The operation was successful, and Beck is reported to be on the path to recovery, according to the club's statement.
Beck will temporarily step back from his responsibilities, with no timeline set for his return to managing the Bundesliga club's affairs.
Beck has served as president of Eintracht Frankfurt for one year and has held the role of supervisory board chairman of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG since July.
The club announced that Beck's duties will be managed collectively within the presidium during his absence.
