Leaked court documents from 2023 and insider reports suggest the project will feature a complete overhaul in Unreal Engine 5 with updated systems for stamina, sneaking, blocking, archery, and a redesigned HUD.
Noted insider 'NateTheHate' and VGC claim the game is likely to be revealed in March or April 2025, with a potential release as early as next month.
The remake will reportedly include modernized combat mechanics, inspired by Souls-like games, and improvements to archery and sneaking for smoother gameplay.
Bethesda has not officially confirmed the remake, but reports indicate it could complement the fan-made Skyblivion project, also slated for release in 2025.
