Empty Life Raft Found in Search for Missing British Tourist and Thai Crew Member

Search operations continue for three days amid rough sea conditions after diving boat capsizes near Thailand's Surin Islands.

Millie Young, a 57-year-old British woman, and Samniang Chaichana, a Thai crew member, remain missing after their diving boat, the Reggae Queen, capsized in rough waters near the Surin Islands in Thailand.
The boat was carrying 18 people when it encountered rough waves and began to take on water. Sixteen people were quickly rescued and taken to safety.
Rescue operations have been ongoing for three days, with teams searching by land, sea, and air. An empty life raft was found 20 nautical miles from where the ship sank.
Officials believe the missing pair may have been swept as far as 60 miles away from the point where the boat sank due to strong currents.
The incident has raised concerns about safety standards in the popular tourist destination, as it is one of several similar incidents involving tourist boats in southern Thailand recently.
