Escaped Teen Murder Suspect Shane Pryor Recaptured in Philadelphia

  • Pryor had been on the run for five days, during which time he was seen on surveillance footage in various locations, including a grocery store and the lobby of a hospital building.
  • Michael Diggs, 18, was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension, escape, criminal conspiracy, and use of a communication facility for allegedly helping Pryor escape.
  • Pryor had been in custody since he was 14, awaiting trial for the 2020 murder of 54-year-old Tanya Harris.
  • Pryor was captured without incident while boarding a public transit bus in an area he was known to frequent.
