The milestone was achieved during France's 3-2 Nations League win against Iceland on February 25, 2025, at the Marie-Marvingt Stadium in Le Mans.
Le Sommer, already the all-time leading scorer for France with 94 goals, has been a key figure in French football since her debut in 2009.
Her career highlights include participating in four World Cups, three Olympic Games, and winning the SheBelieves Cup in 2017, though major international titles have eluded her.
After being sidelined for two years under former coach Corinne Diacre, Le Sommer returned to the national team in 2023 under Hervé Renard, reclaiming her pivotal role.
