Ex-Armyman Confesses to Killing Wife, Claims He Boiled and Disposed of Body Parts

Police in Hyderabad are investigating the shocking claims of a retired soldier who says he killed his wife after an argument, but no body parts have been recovered yet.

The victim, 35-year-old P Venkata Madhavi, was reported missing on January 18, prompting a police investigation.
Her husband, Gurumurthy, a retired Army jawan now working as a security guard, confessed to killing her in a fit of rage on January 16 after a heated argument.
Gurumurthy claims he dismembered Madhavi's body, boiled the parts in a pressure cooker, and disposed of the remains in a nearby lake to cover up the crime.
Police have taken Gurumurthy into custody but have not yet recovered any body parts, and they are working to verify his confession with forensic and technical evidence.
The couple had been married for 13 years and lived with their two children, who were away at the time of the alleged crime.
