He is accused of killing a Florida couple to fund a mercenary trip to Venezuela.
Lang and accomplice Alex Zwiefelhofer allegedly planned to fight in multiple global conflicts.
Zwiefelhofer was convicted in March and awaits sentencing in August.
Lang also faces charges in North Carolina and Arizona for passport fraud and identity theft.
