Explosion in Calgary Destroys Three Townhomes, Injures Six

Authorities are investigating the cause of a late-night blast that left multiple homes uninhabitable and displaced residents.

Calgary Fire Department responded to a significant explosion at Las Americas Villas in the city's northeast around 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Three townhomes were destroyed, and a fourth was threatened by the resulting fire and smoke.
Six individuals were injured, with three sustaining critical injuries and one reported to have life-threatening injuries.
Debris from the explosion was scattered across a large area, according to witnesses near the scene.
