An explosion occurred in a Fremont home suspected to be a drug lab, leaving one person critically injured.
The explosion happened around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, in the 37000 block of Waverly Terrace.
The occupants of the home fled before the arrival of first responders.
One person later checked into a hospital and is currently in critical condition.
Surrounding residences were evacuated while authorities investigated the cause of the explosion.
