An explosion occurred near the Israeli embassy in Delhi, India, with no injuries reported. The blast was well planned to avoid CCTV cameras, according to Delhi police.
Israel has upgraded its travel advisory for citizens in India, advising them to avoid crowded places and large-scale events. The advisory also warns against displaying Israeli symbols in public.
Delhi police have identified two suspects from CCTV footage, but their involvement has not been confirmed.
A letter was found near the blast site, purportedly written by 'Sir Allah Resistance', containing threats and references to 'Zionists', 'Palestine' and 'Gaza'.
This is not the first time an explosion has been reported near the Israeli embassy in Delhi. A similar incident occurred in 2021.
