Fallout 76 Surpasses 17 Million Players; Major Updates Planned for 2024

Fallout 76, Bethesda's online RPG, has reached over 17 million players since its game-changing Wastelanders update in 2020.
The game, which had a troubled launch in 2018, has seen significant improvements and expansions, earning it a place among games like No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 that have made impressive turnarounds.
Bethesda has announced plans for more updates in 2024, including the second part of the Atlantic City update, America's Playground, scheduled for release in Spring.
Later in 2024, the game's map will expand southwards into the Shenandoah woodlands in Virginia, introducing a new questline, factions, and rewards.
Seasonal Events will be run more frequently in 2024, each with new rewards, and several additional features and improvements are planned.
