Family urges release of EU diplomat imprisoned in Iran for over 500 days

Swedish EU diplomat Johan Floderus has been held in Tehran's Evin prison since April 2022.
Floderus was arrested while returning from a trip to Iran.
He has been subjected to solitary confinement, inadequate food, and 24-hour cell light.
Floderus has had limited consular visits and brief monthly monitored phone calls.
On his 33rd birthday, his family shared a photo from his only video call and pleaded for his release.
