Fan Tries to Sell Tickets After Brush With Death Outside White Sox Game
- Chuck Janczy was one of four pedestrians hit by a speeding car outside of Guaranteed Rate Field before Tuesday’s game against the Texas Rangers.
- The alleged driver was identified as 20-year-old Condelarious Garcia, who has been charged with four felony counts of failure to report accident and injury, four felony counts of aggravated reckless driving and bodily harm, one misdemeanor count of driving on a suspended license and three citations.
- Janczy suffered several injuries, including seven fractured ribs, two or three fractured spine bones in the lumbar section, a badly dislocated thumb, and one small spiral fracture in his tibia.
- Janczy is recovering at his home in Evanston after more than a day at the University of Chicago medical center
- Janczy is not optimistic about the White Sox's season and was trying to sell his tickets for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
