Father in Uttar Pradesh Kills Four Children, Dies by Suicide in Gruesome Incident

Rajiv Kumar, 36, killed his three daughters (aged 12, 9, and 7) and 5-year-old son by slitting their throats before hanging himself in his home on March 26, 2025.
The crime was discovered the following morning by Rajiv's father, Prithviraj, who found the house locked and later uncovered the bodies inside.
Police recovered the weapon used in the killings and sandpaper reportedly used to sharpen it, confirming the act as a murder-suicide.
Rajiv had been suffering from mental health issues linked to a severe head injury a year earlier, which reportedly left him agitated and prone to violent thoughts.
His wife, Kranti, had left the home six days earlier after a domestic dispute, citing abuse and alarming statements Rajiv made about harming the family.
