Federal Court Rules School District Must Allow After School Satan Club

A federal judge ruled that a school district in Pennsylvania must allow an After School Satan Club to convene in district facilities.
The ruling was issued in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
The Satanic Temple sponsors the After School Satan Club, and the school district must allow it to meet on three previously agreed-upon dates during the school year.
The district won't have to distribute permission slips for the club for students to take home.
The ACLU filed suit against the school district on behalf of The Satanic Temple, arguing that the district violated the First Amendment by prohibiting the club from meeting in the district's facilities.
