Fire at Gwalior Hospital Forces Evacuation of Over 190 Patients

A fire broke out at Kamla Raja Hospital in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, around 1 AM on Sunday, reportedly due to a short circuit in an ICU air conditioner.
Hospital staff and guards quickly evacuated over 190 patients, including 13 from the ICU, to a nearby super specialty hospital.
Firefighters from the Gwalior Municipal Corporation deployed two fire tenders to bring the blaze under control.
While no injuries or casualties were reported, patients were examined for possible effects of smoke inhalation.
Officials have announced an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire and assess safety measures.
