First-Ever Solana Futures ETFs Launch on Nasdaq Today

Volatility Shares debuts two ETFs offering futures-based exposure to Solana, marking a milestone for crypto investment products in the U.S.

Volatility Shares is introducing the Volatility Shares Solana ETF (SOLZ) and the Volatility Shares 2x Solana ETF (SOLT), with both funds listed on Nasdaq.
These ETFs provide exposure to Solana through futures contracts, with SOLZ tracking futures and SOLT offering leveraged exposure.
The launch follows the recent debut of Solana futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, which saw $12.3 million in trading volume on its first day.
The introduction of these ETFs is viewed as a potential step toward SEC approval of spot Solana ETFs, though no immediate decision is expected.
