The twin pandas, both girls, are the first ever born in South Korea.
Mother Ai Bao and her newborn cubs are reported to be in good health after the birth.
The rare twin panda birth is seen as an opportunity to promote protection of the endangered species.
Ai Bao and mate Le Bao were loaned to South Korea from China in 2016 as part of "panda diplomacy."
