Florida Woman Charged With Felony Battery for Throwing Wine at Rep. Matt Gaetz

Selena Chambers was arrested for throwing a glass of wine at Rep. Matt Gaetz during a Florida wine festival.
Chambers faces misdemeanor battery charges as well as felony battery charges for assaulting an elected official.
Gaetz intends to press charges against Chambers to uphold civility and safety.
Chambers claimed the incident was an accident, but witnesses said she deliberately threw the drink at Gaetz while cursing at him.
Threats against lawmakers have been increasing, and Gaetz has been targeted before.
