The backpack of former American Idol star Jimmy Levy exploded into flames caused by an alleged malfunctioning portable charger while on a JetBlue flight waiting for takeoff at JFK Airport.
Levy sustained minor burns and the plane was evacuated, however, there were no requests for medical assistance. The incident is still under investigation by JetBlue.
