Former 'NYPD Blue' child star Austin Majors died at 27 from accidental fentanyl overdose

Majors gained fame playing Theo Sipowicz on "NYPD Blue" and had other acting credits including Treasure Planet.
He was living in a homeless housing facility in Los Angeles when he died in February.
The LA County Medical Examiner ruled his cause of death as fentanyl toxicity.
His family and former co-star Dennis Franz remembered Majors as a loving, artistic person with a passion for acting.
The case into Majors' death remains open according to the coroner's office.
