Former Olympian Antony James Convicted of Raping Two Teenage Girls

Antony James, a 2012 Olympics swimmer, was found guilty of multiple sexual offenses over a decade-long period.

Antony James, 34, was convicted at Plymouth Crown Court on eight charges, including three counts of rape.
The offenses took place between 2012 and 2022, with James manipulating and controlling his teenage victims.
James had previously pleaded guilty to six counts of making indecent photographs of a child.
The jury was unable to reach a verdict on additional charges, and the CPS has a week to decide on a retrial.
James, a former trainee police officer, has been released on bail pending sentencing.
