Former Olympic Snowboarder Ryan Wedding Added to FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List

The Canadian athlete is accused of leading a transnational drug cartel tied to cocaine trafficking and multiple murders.

Ryan Wedding, a 43-year-old Canadian and former Olympic snowboarder, is wanted for running a drug trafficking network spanning Colombia, Mexico, the U.S., and Canada.
The FBI alleges Wedding orchestrated the transport of hundreds of kilograms of cocaine and ordered at least three murders, including a mistaken-identity killing of an innocent Canadian couple.
Wedding, believed to be hiding in Mexico under the protection of the Sinaloa cartel, faces charges including drug trafficking, murder, and attempted murder, with a potential life sentence if convicted.
The U.S. Department of State has authorized a $10 million reward for information leading to Wedding’s arrest, alongside an additional $50,000 reward from the FBI.
Wedding’s criminal activities, dubbed one of the most sophisticated drug operations in North America, have been under investigation since 2024 through an operation named 'Giant Slalom.'
