Former Super Bowl Champion Matt Ulrich Dies at 41

Ulrich, father of four and former NFL player whose career peaked at the Indianapolis Colts, mentored young athletes and co-founded fitness and business ventures after his sports career.

Matt Ulrich, a former Super Bowl champion with the Indianapolis Colts, has died at the age of 41. The circumstances around his death have not yet been disclosed.
Ulrich had a short but impactful career with the Colts, having played for two seasons and winning the Super Bowl in the 2006 season. He had previously been a captain at Northwestern University's football team.
Following his football career, Ulrich co-founded DexaFit LLC, which is a national brand of body fat and metabolic testing centers, and served as a player advisor for the Harvard Football Players Health Study.
He also served as the managing director and partner with Montana-based Profitable Ideas Exchange, a firm advising professional services.
Ulrich is survived by his wife and four pre-teen sons. He moved to Montana after retiring from football and is remembered for being dedicated to his family and community.
