Former 'Teacher of the Year' Accused of Sexual Assault

- Hargrove was arrested on Dec. 21, 2023, and charged with six counts of sexual assault of a child, four counts of indecency with a child by contact, and two counts of indecency with a child by exposure.
- The Brazosport Independent School District placed Hargrove on administrative leave in September 2023 and initiated employment-related actions to terminate her.
- Hargrove's fate will be determined at a school board meeting on Jan. 22, 2024.
