Former Trump Adviser Peter Navarro To Stand Trial In September For Contempt Of Congress

Peter Navarro refused to cooperate with a congressional investigation into the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Navarro has been charged with one count of contempt for failing to appear for a deposition and a second count for failing to produce documents.
Navarro pleaded not guilty and claimed Trump invoked executive privilege, preventing him from cooperating.
Navarro is the second Trump aide after Steve Bannon to face criminal charges in the investigation.
Navarro's trial is scheduled for September.
