Four Injured in Stabbing Incident at Louisiana Tech University; Suspect in Custody

University student apprehended shortly after attack; one victim in critical condition

Four people were stabbed on the campus of Louisiana Tech University, with one victim in critical condition and two others in serious but stable condition.
The suspect, a 23-year-old student of the university, was apprehended within minutes of the attack.
The incident occurred outside the Lambright Sports and Wellness Center, a recreation center for students and the Ruston community.
One of the victims was a graduate student, while the remaining three were not students.
The attack appears to be a random act of violence, according to the university's statement.
