The band described the departure as amicable, thanking Ferrer for his creativity, friendship, and steady contributions since 2006.
Ferrer joined the band as a temporary replacement for Bryan 'Brain' Mantia before becoming a permanent member.
His last performance with Guns N' Roses took place on November 5, 2023, during a show in Mexico.
The upcoming May 2025 tour will be the band's first in two years, though no replacement for Ferrer has yet been announced.
