Gachiakuta Anime Adaptation to Stream Exclusively on Crunchyroll This July

The shonen series, produced by Studio Bones, brings a dystopian world of trash and revenge to life with a graffiti-inspired art style.

Crunchyroll has secured exclusive streaming rights for the anime adaptation of Gachiakuta, set to premiere in July 2025.
The series is based on the hit manga by Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2022.
Studio Bones, known for My Hero Academia and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, is producing the adaptation with a team of experienced creators.
The story follows Rudo, a young man exiled to a massive garbage-filled abyss after being falsely accused of murder, where he battles monstrous trash creatures and seeks vengeance.
Gachiakuta's unique aesthetic is inspired by graffiti, with co-creator Hideyoshi Andou contributing to the manga's distinctive visual style.
