Gaza Hospital Used as Hamas Military Base, Chief Admits

Intensive Cease-fire Talks Underway as Malaysia Imposes Sanctions on Israel

Hamas has been using Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza as a military base, according to the hospital's chief, Ahmad Kahlot, who admitted to being a senior Hamas official.
Hamas operatives, including doctors, nurses, and clerks, have been operating out of the hospital, using it as a safe place to avoid being targeted.
Hamas has also used the hospital to house hostages and transport bodies using a private ambulance service.
Intensive talks are ongoing for another cease-fire and hostage release deal, with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh heading to Egypt for negotiations.
Malaysia has announced that Israeli ships are no longer allowed to dock or take on cargo at any of its ports due to Israel's military campaign in the Gaza Strip.
