Genshin Impact 5.5 Update Introduces New Characters, Area, and Events

The update, releasing March 26, 2025, features two new characters, a volcanic Natlan zone, and fresh gameplay events.

Version 5.5, titled 'Day of the Flame’s Return,' will launch on March 26, 2025, and run through early June.
Two new characters debut: Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst DPS, and Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm support with unique exploration abilities.
A new area, the Collective of Plenty, located near an active volcano in Natlan, includes exploration zones, floating islands, and a new artifact domain.
Major events include the Tournament of Glory in Bloom, a co-op Quirky Quaking Arena, and the high-difficulty Unlimited Fighting Championship.
Quality-of-life updates include guaranteed artifact substat improvements, expanded treasure detection, and Android controller support.
