German Court Upholds Verfassungsschutz Report on AfD Extremism

The report estimated that 30-40% of AfD members, or approximately 10,000 individuals, belong to extremist factions within the party.
The court found sufficient evidence to support the report's claims, particularly regarding the network linked to the former 'Flügel' faction and its leader, Björn Höcke.
This decision upholds a previous ruling from 2024 by the Verwaltungsgericht Berlin, which also deemed the report's findings lawful and justified.
