Giant Snapping Turtle Dubbed 'Chonkosaurus' Goes Viral After Being Spotted Sunbathing in Chicago River

A massive snapping turtle nicknamed "Chonkasaurus" was spotted in the Chicago River and has gained internet fame.
The turtle is estimated to weigh at least 60 pounds and is likely a pregnant female according to a wildlife biologist.
The turtle was filmed by a kayaker and the video has gone viral, earning the turtle the nickname "Chonkosaurus" due to its large size and folds of flesh.
Although snapping turtles are normally ill-tempered, this turtle seemed unbothered by its newfound fame and was sunbathing on rocks in the river.
