Giants recall top catching prospect, place two players on IL

The San Francisco Giants added catcher Patrick Bailey and right-hander Ryan Walker to their roster.
Outfielder Cal Stevenson was designated for assignment and outfielder Heliot Ramos was recalled from Sacramento and placed on the 60-day injured list with a right oblique strain to make room for the new players.
Right-hander Ross Stripling and catcher Joey Bart were both placed on the injured list with back and groin strains, respectively.
Bailey was the Giants' first-round draft pick in 2020 and hit .276 with four home runs and 16 RBIs in 28 games this season.
