Google Chrome is introducing three new experimental AI features aimed at enhancing user experience. These features include smart tab organization, personalized theming, and an AI-powered writing assistant.
The smart tab organization feature uses AI to automatically suggest and create tab groups based on the user's open tabs, making it easier to manage multiple tabs.
The personalized theming feature allows users to create custom themes for their browser using AI. Users can select a subject, mood, visual style, and color, and Chrome will generate a unique theme tailored to their preferences.
The AI-powered writing assistant, set to be introduced in the next Chrome update, is designed to assist users in drafting well-written content on the web. Users can access this feature by right-clicking on a text box or field on any site and selecting 'Help me write'.
These features are currently being tested and are available to Chrome users on Macs and Windows PCs in the U.S. They are disabled for enterprise and educational accounts at this stage.
