Google Launches Project Gemini, a Human-like AI Model

The AI will be incorporated into Google’s chatbot Bard and Pixel 8 Pro smartphone, with major advances expected next year.

Google has launched project Gemini, an AI model trained to behave in human-like ways, which will be incorporated into Google’s AI-powered chatbot Bard and its Pixel 8 Pro smartphone.
Gemini will be able to quickly summarize recordings made on the device and provide automatic replies on messaging services, starting with WhatsApp.
The biggest advances of Gemini will come next year with the launch of its Ultra model, which will be used to launch “Bard Advanced,” a more advanced version of the chatbot.
Gemini will eventually be infused into Google’s dominant search engine, although the timing of this transition hasn’t been specified.
Google’s corporate parent, Alphabet, has seen its market value rise more than $500 billion, or about 45%, so far this year, despite the anticipation surrounding Gemini.
