Great-Grandfather Jailed for Brandishing Gun in Family Dispute Over Wife's Ashes

The incident, which occurred on August 11, 2024, was livestreamed on Facebook and quickly drew police attention.
Gordon was arrested 40 minutes later at a nearby industrial estate, where officers found the firearm, blank bullets, a pick axe handle, and two tasers in his possession.
A search of Gordon's home uncovered live ammunition, leading to charges of possessing a firearm, ammunition without a license, and two counts of possessing a taser.
