Hallie Jackson Named New Anchor of NBC Nightly News Sundays

Jackson to begin on April 7, taking over from Kate Snow and bringing the broadcast to Washington D.C.

Hallie Jackson has been appointed as the new anchor for the Sunday edition of NBC Nightly News, starting April 7, 2024.
She replaces Kate Snow, who stepped down last month to focus more on NBC News Daily and her senior national correspondent role.
The Sunday broadcast will now originate from Washington D.C., highlighting Jackson's role as NBC News' senior Washington correspondent.
Jackson will continue to anchor 'Hallie Jackson NOW' on NBC News NOW and contribute to NBC News’ 2024 election coverage.
Prior to this role, Jackson served as NBC News' chief White House correspondent and has been with the network since 2014.
