Father of Fallen Soldier Embarks on Months-Long Search, Israeli Authorities Eventually Recover Head in Gaza

David Tahar, father of fallen IDF soldier Adir Tahar, claims Hamas terrorists decapitated his son and attempted to sell the head for $10,000.
Adir Tahar was killed during the October 7 Hamas-led attacks on Israel, during which an estimated 1,200 people, mostly civilians, were killed.
David Tahar discovered the mutilation of his son's body just before the burial and embarked on a months-long search for the head, eventually finding a video showing his son's body without the head.
Israeli authorities, following interrogations with captured Hamas terrorists, located the head in a freezer in central Gaza and confirmed its identity through DNA and dental records.
Hamas-led attacks also resulted in hundreds of hostages, with reports emerging of horrific treatment including branding, torture, and sexual abuse.
