Hathras Professor Accused of Decades-Long Sexual Exploitation Remains at Large

An FIR was filed on March 13, 2025, under charges of rape, sexual harassment, and abuse of authority, following an anonymous complaint and leaked videos online.
The college suspended Kumar after the allegations surfaced, but he remains on the run, with three police teams actively searching for him.
Authorities have identified 59 explicit videos as key evidence, while a four-member committee, formed by the district magistrate, investigates institutional failures and complicity.
