HBO Orders Game of Thrones Prequel Series Based on George R.R. Martin's ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’

Ser Duncan the Tall and Aegon V Targaryen's adventures will be chronicled in the new prequel series.
George R.R. Martin will serve as executive producer and writer, along with other producers from Game of Thrones.
The show is based on Martin's novellas "The Hedge Knight," "The Sworn Sword," and "The Mystery Knight."
No release date has been announced for the series, which follows several other Game of Thrones spinoffs in development.
