Heat Guard Victor Oladipo Out For Season With Torn Patellar Tendon

Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo suffered a torn patellar tendon in his left knee during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Milwaukee Bucks and will miss the remainder of the postseason.
Oladipo initially hurt his knee after slipping on a layup attempt in the fourth quarter of Saturday night's Game 3 and had to be helped off the court.
Oladipo has endured several major knee injuries over the last few years, including a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee in 2019 that caused him to miss over a year of action.
Oladipo's injury leaves the Heat thin in the backcourt as shooting guard Tyler Herro is also out for at least six weeks due to a broken hand suffered in Game 1 of the series.
Oladipo's future is uncertain after suffering his third major knee injury in four years at the age of 29.
