Heather Mack, who conspired with her boyfriend to murder her mother in Bali in 2014, has been sentenced to 26 years in federal prison.
Mack and her then-boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, planned the murder to gain access to a $1.5 million trust fund.
Mack served seven years in an Indonesian prison before being deported to the U.S., where she was arrested and charged with conspiracy to kill a U.S. national.
Schaefer remains in prison in Indonesia, serving an 18-year sentence for the murder.
Mack's daughter, born while she was in prison in Indonesia, is now in the custody of a relative.
